About
Paige Klugherz is a visual artist based in Reno, NV. Her 2D work primarily documents her movement through the Sierra Nevada, the Range of Light. Working both en plein air and from personal reference photos, she aims to capture both the vastness and the intimacy of these landscapes.
Her sculptural work focuses on materiality and form. She uses organic materials including wood, wool, fabric, leather, and clay along with traditional techniques such as weaving and dyeing, to create contemporary work that interprets landscapes and the places where people seek shelter and autonomy.
